California: San Jose: Tour of the
new Chabot Science Center; Edwards Air Force Base: Numerous
shuttle landings, air shows, and invitations to firsts in
aviation history; Los Angeles/Orange County area: Too
numerous to count! But we're based here, so it's no wonder that
we're one of the most active space organizations in the area.

area; San Diego: Several space events and the Space and
Science Center and the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center.
Arizona: Tour of Kitt Peak Observatory
and visit to Novaspace Gallery.
New Mexico: Attending the 2001
International Space Development Conference and the first-ever X
Cup in Las Cruces in Oct. 2006.
Texas: Houston: Special tour of
Johnson Space Center as official media.
Florida: Attending several space shuttle
launches as official media.
North Carolina: Covering and attending
the 2003 Centennial of Flight events as official media.
Washington: OCSS member set up a display
for the Deep Impact comet mission. Also, displays have been set
up at the Museum of Flight in Seattle.
Washington, D.C.: Attending opening of
the new Udvar-Hazy center.
New York: An official news outlet for the
opening of "Star Trek: Nemesis."
Afghanistan: Organized a care package of
space memorabilia and information to a new friend hungry for
anything he could get his hands on about space.
Turkey: Izmir: Part of planning,
organizing and management of the first ever summer conference
and camp at Space Camp Turkey. Antalya: Lead a group of
cosmic thrill seekers on an 11-day excursion to view a total
solar eclipse. The trip also included tours of fascinating areas
of southwestern Turkey.
